Jelli closes Series A funding for crowdsourced radio!
Today we are thrilled to announce Jelli has closed of a $7 million Series A round of funding led by Battery Ventures, with participation from First Round Capital. With this funding, we’ll be expanding into even more radio markets and continuing development of exciting new Jelli features to revolutionize radio.
We’ve come a long way from our initial pilot on CBS Radio’s LIVE 105 in San Francisco, the first radio station to hand over control of the airwaves to the listeners and broadcast 100% user-controlled radio! Jelli is now live and on the air in 17 markets across the U.S. and Australia, and with an incredible group of investors behind us, we’ll be expanding even further.
