*Ever wondered what “Lisztomania” meant? Lisztomania or Liszt fever is a term used to describe the intense fan frenzy directed toward Franz Liszt during his performances. This frenzy first occurred in Berlin in 1841 and was later coined by Heinrich Heine in a feuilleton he wrote on April 25, 1844, discussing the 1844 Parisian concert season. The word is a portmanteau of “Liszt” and “mania”. Lisztomania was characterized by intense levels of hysteria demonstrated by fans.

*”Riot” is the sixth most played song for this week’s top 11. This song is about protesting against the negative things in life, and was inspired by vocalist Adam Gontier’s anger when he was in rehab for OxyContin addiction.
**This weeks number four most played for song Foo Fighter’s “Let It Die”, featured original guitarist Pat Smear. Foo Fighter’s made a music video for this single in 2008, but it was never released.

With the approval of T_Bone, three Jelli staffers traveled down to the San Jose Improv on Monday to join with the Free For All team and help raise money for a good cause. With their powers combined they managed to have an awesome fund raising filled night. Those in attendance could pick up some awesome Jelli stickers, for all occasions. Intern tulioz managed to find himself on the floor after having problems sitting in a chair, but even that could not put a damper on the night. So without further ado, here are some pictures from the event!

**The band, Cage The Elephant signed with EMI Records after showcasing at the 2007 South by Southwest music festival, and then moved to London, England. Now, the band is currently on tour supporting Stone Temple Pilots.
